“This was a very successful World Congress for SENSORIS. It is very difficult to gather so many experts in one place and thanks to this event, myself and the SENSORIS consortium definitely had a good occasion to present all our latest developments and to get inspired by others”, said Chairman Prokop Jehlicka at the end of one of his presentations carried out at the SENSORIS stand in Copenhagen.

During the five days of Congress, representatives from SENSORIS had the chance to liaise with various standardisation bodies for harmonization, to connect with existing projects that expressed interest and need for SENSORIS and reach out to new companies with potential interested in joining this innovation platform.

Particularly important highlight was SENSORIS presence at the Special Interest Session of the Open Auto Drive Forum (OADF) called “A New Cooperation Approach for an Automated Driving Ecosystem”, where discussions focused on the need for standardisation for the synchronisation between vehicle and back-end, between different map and data providers as well as between OEMs and software/hardware vendors.

The next appointment for SENSORIS members will be on 23-24 October in Toulouse, France, for the General Assembly.
